Where We Are
Beside the Ganga, in the foothills
Our campus sits at Pushkar Mandir in Rishikesh, where the Ganga leaves the mountains for the plains. Practice halls, gardens and guest rooms are gathered around the temple, a short walk from the river.

Three ways to reach Rishikesh
By Air
Dehradun
Jolly Grant Airport (DED) is the nearest airport, about 35 minutes by road. Delhi (DEL) is the nearest international gateway, roughly six hours by car.
By Rail
Haridwar
Haridwar Junction is the best-served railhead, about 45 minutes away. Rishikesh station is closer but takes fewer trains.
By Road
Delhi · Dehradun
Regular buses and taxis run from Delhi ISBT Kashmere Gate, Haridwar and Dehradun. We can arrange a pickup if you send us your arrival time.
Before You Come
A few simple things worth knowing

Arrive in daylight if you can
The lanes near the temple are quiet and narrow after dark. Afternoon arrivals settle in most easily.

Dress simply and modestly
Loose, comfortable clothing that covers the shoulders and knees is right for both practice and the temple grounds.

Leave shoes at the threshold
Practice halls and the temple are entered barefoot. A pair of easy slip-ons makes the day simpler.

The kitchen is sattvic
All meals are vegetarian, freshly cooked, without onion or garlic. Tell us in advance about allergies.

Mornings begin early
Practice starts before sunrise. Evenings are quiet, and most guests are asleep by ten.

Phones stay outside the hall
You are welcome to keep your phone, but practice spaces are kept free of screens and cameras.
Questions
Before you write to us
Can I visit without booking a program?
Yes. Day visitors are welcome for morning and evening classes, and for darshan at the temple. Write to us first so someone is expecting you.
Do you have accommodation on site?
Residential rooms are held for participants in our immersions and trainings — Antarbodh, teacher training and retreats. For a casual visit we are glad to suggest places nearby.
What is the best time of year to come?
February to April and September to November are the most comfortable. The monsoon (July–August) is green and quiet but wet, and December to January is cold but very still.
Can I bring my family or children?
Yes. Families are welcome to visit and to join our community classes. Residential programs have their own age guidance — ask us and we will advise.
