200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India

This residential 200-hour Hatha & Vinyasa teacher training is held at the Parasha ashram in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand — a month of immersive study on the banks of the Ganga. Mornings begin before sunrise with kriyā and meditation; days move through āsana labs, prāṇāyāma, philosophy, anatomy and a supervised teaching practicum. The cohort is deliberately small — sixteen trainees at most — so every student teaches, is seen, and is corrected.

What makes this training different

Parasha is a nonprofit foundation, not a certificate mill. The training is taught from living lineage — the tradition carried by Veer Raghavacharya Ji and Vaibhav Parashar — and our fees are published transparently: what you see in the booking panel is what you pay, in INR or USD, with a 20% deposit to reserve your seat. You live at the ashram for the full training, practicing yoga as a way of life rather than attending it as a course.

Sincerity is the only prerequisite. You do not need years of advanced āsana — you need a steady personal practice and the readiness to commit fully for a month.
