Dharna — Soham Meditation
Vaibhav Parashar | 45 minutes
About This Class
Soham is called the ajapa mantra — the mantra that repeats itself. Listen closely and the inhalation whispers ‘So’, the exhalation ‘Ham’: I am That. This practice simply joins awareness to a repetition that has been going on since your first breath.
Because the mantra rides on the breath, the technique is remarkably natural: no strain, no forcing, just a gradual settling of the mind into its own rhythm. Over the course, attention steadies, thought slows, and glimpses of quiet identity behind the thinking mind begin to appear.
Curious how this actually feels day to day before committing to a course? Read our full guide to Soham meditation, the mantra your breath already knows.
