Surya & Chandra Pranayama
Vaibhav Parashar | 30 minutes
About This Class
The tradition assigns each half of the day its own breath. Sūrya prāṇāyāma — solar, right-nostril practices — is done in the morning: heating, energising, clarifying, setting the system alight for the day’s work. Chandra prāṇāyāma — lunar, left-nostril practices — belongs to the evening: cooling, calming, gathering the senses inward toward rest.
This paired program teaches both, along with the physiology of the nasal cycle and the art of matching breath to time of day. Short daily practices, profound cumulative effect: steadier energy, better sleep, and a day consciously opened and consciously closed.
What to Expect
Two compact daily routines taught over the course, with the theory of svara yoga explained along the way.
