Dharna — Chanting Meditation
Vaibhav Parashar | 45 minutes
About This Class
For many people, sitting silently is the hardest possible starting point. Chanting meditation begins where the mind already is — active — and gives it something beautiful to do. Repeated mantra and simple kīrtan gather the scattered attention into one stream of sound.
Then, when the chanting stops, something remarkable happens: the silence that follows is not empty but full, and the mind rests in it without being asked. That taught-by-experience transition from sound to stillness is the heart of this course.
What to Expect
Call-and-response chanting, steady mantra repetition, and deepening silent sits after each round.
