About This Class
Praṇava is the ancient name for Om, the sound the Upaniṣads call the seed of all sounds. In this practice, Om is not merely chanted but listened into — its three measures (A-U-M) traced through body, breath and mind, and the fourth, the silence after, given equal honour.
The course moves from audible chanting, through mental repetition, to absorption in the vibration itself. It is a devotional and contemplative practice at once: simple enough for a beginner, deep enough that traditions have built entire sadhanās upon it.
What to Expect
Group chanting to open, guided inner repetition, and growing periods of listening silence.
